Little Garden of Paradise

The header, a beautiful image of reading, is part of a panel painting from about 1410 by an anonymous artist known as the upper Rhenish Master, titled Little Garden of Paradise. It's in the Städelsches Kunstinstitut und Städtische Galerie in Frankfurt and is thought to be one of the earliest naturalistic depictions of plants and birds in European art. A mind can take you anywhere. The internet is proof of that. Books, whether printed or electronic, can take you anywhere in the universe as well. This is a website about the power of writing to explore new worlds.
